Project Overview: This case study describes a construction project involving the creation of a new garden boundary wall with brick piers. The objective was to build a sturdy and visually appealing wall that would provide privacy and security to the garden area. Key features of the project included centered brick piers at 2.1 meters intervals, a foundation designed to withstand tree root penetration, and decorative brickwork patterns.

Project Scope: The project scope encompassed the following aspects:

  • Construction of a new garden boundary wall with brick piers.
  • Excavation of the sub-soil to create a suitable foundation.
  • Formation of a foundation 600mm in width and 1000mm in depth.
  • Installation of 20mm reinforced steel bar formwork to reinforce the foundation and prevent tree roots from undermining it.
  • Incorporation of brick features, including diamond patterning, a bullseye opening, and an access gate on the side
