Project Overview: This case study describes a construction project involving the creation of a new garden boundary wall with brick piers. Foundation Construction: To ensure the stability and longevity of the garden boundary wall, a robust foundation was constructed. The sub-soil was excavated to the required depth, removing any loose or unsuitable materials. The foundation was designed to be 600mm wide and 1000mm deep, providing a solid base for the wall. Additionally, a 20mm reinforced steel bar formwork was employed to reinforce the foundation and prevent tree roots from penetrating and undermining it.
Brickwork Features: The aesthetic appeal of the garden boundary wall was enhanced through the inclusion of various brickwork features. These features included diamond patterning, which involved the arrangement of bricks in a diamond-shaped pattern, adding visual interest to the wall.
